This text tells a lot about the reactions of sulfamic acid with metal ions and complexes that are common in our context. For example

AgNH2SO3 from sulfamic acid and Ag+
K2[PtCl2(NH2SO3)2] and others from sulfamic acid and the respective PGM complex ions.

Platinosulfonates are said to be used in electroplating. Surely not much use for it, but a very interesting read!

There is a short abstract in English in the beginning, the rest is written in German.

Just what I thought, when I read this, but on the other side those compounds do not seem to harm the process. At least the silver sulfamate cemented easily out on zinc, they wrote. So, maybe it can be generalized to all sulfonates, that they can easily get reduced.

Further, if they wouldn't get easily reduced, someone would already have determined losses.

I think this matter is an interesting curiosity, but has no impact on what we do.
