SunSparc CPU's anyone? Pics Added!

I just finished scrapping a bunch of Sun servers. The CPU's do not have pins, but sit in a black plastic tray with what looks like gold steel wool under each contact. I will try to post photos today if I get a chance.

Anybody ever try to process these before?

funny, i just scrapped a few of those myself lately and some hp server and found the same thing, only mine ware white, and turned out to be silver plated on some sort of conductive foam "bracket" that runs through the plastic sheet.

yours defiantly looks like they have gold on them... try and test one with nitric acid...

I had a bunch of those as well, I left them attached to the boards. I only kept the gold ones.
