a chemist here in brazil tells me that if you make a fine powder from solder mixed with smds (pd),gold and silver from scrapped boards(60mesh,he says) and you mix this powder with tartaric acid and then dissolve this mixture with nitric ,you will obtain a solution with all the tin and lead in solution +pd and silver-----he says that this material is easy to filter----then you separate the pd from ag with nacl-----and to the powder left in the filter paper you add ar to obtain the gold----if this works? for me would be a revolution and would facilitate very much in my refining processes----
have anyone in the forum heard of such a thing??
please coments and experiences are welcome-------
i did not do this yet because friday was a holiday in sao paulo and i did not have tartaric acid in my lab----- i have a few threads in the forum asking for help with solder tailings and perhaps i am obseced with this---but i had to write this thread
