Depopulating medical spo2 meter and cracked an IC . This was inside. Curious what it is. (pulled same chip from an identical device to show you them side-by-side.)

Probably some kind of accelerator reading device, for reading the pulse.

It’s a clock chip and apparently that is the 32.768 khz crystal for it’s built-in oscillator circuit. Weird, never seen something done like that before. Normally it would be a separate component.
