From the little I understood after reading the article, it seemed to say that corn starch was the percipient engine for the gold bromide salt to gold. Does this suggest that adding cornstarch to the gold bromide solution the gold will drop out..
Now if this is correct, they why shouldn't any gold salt have this same reaction such as gold chloride or any other ?
Am I wrong in thinking that this reaction with a starch must produce a reaction that the sugar reduces to carbon and the gold falls out.
Hey, I'm the least in line for understanding most of this stuff here on the forum so I could be waaaaay off.
What do folks here think about this working with any of the processes that dissolve gold into solution.
