Looking at my scrap pile growing, mostly from free sources, I'm thinking to change plans as my free time is almost nil lately I'm thinking to build a rig of motherboards to test SD and DDRs of various types so I could try to sell them at a better price then scrap value. A quick ram test for small sizes chips would take an hour or so. There only issue would sell them in eBay, it's plenty of those and rarely they get sold. Computer repair shops have many modules already so I'm still undecided on what to do.spaceships said:MarcoP said:I've looked into getting a RAM tester hardware but prices are unbelievable high! In a similar way I do this commercially Marco. We process around 2 tonnes of RAM per month and sell the failed RAM for refining. I do achieve around $13.5 per pound for this for standard RAM.
