Hey all,

I've found that I have about 2 to 3 lbs of these and I still havent found anything on them to make sure they were silver. I don't have anything to test them now so I don't even know if they're worth keeping.(I'm moving) The sheets inside resemble the ones commonly found in the silver mica capacitors. Has anyone processed any of these?

Thank you
-Andrew

These are nothing that old, they're surface mount. Not sure what they are offhand, and I can't quite read the markings in his picture. I've seen thermal fuses on circuit boards that looked like these though?

Hey guys,

Sorry for the bad pics, any way I turn them in the light all they do is shine. It's cloudy out right now so I might try a another pic or two out there. The numbers on the front read as 60J 250V SAHA and another reads S56G 350WV.

Thanks again,
Andrew

Ok then, this might be what they call a Metal-Clad Mica Capacitor. The one in this picture is a bit different but very close.
