Type off contacts

Hello,

i Have a few off these Relais i'm not sure what type off contacts are used. Wenn i search on the nsn only thing i can find that it contains an unknown precious metal.

Doesn't look like silver contacts, but thats just my view.

If you have a few acids handy, testing if they are silver is pretty easy. Remove as much base metal from the contact as possible, then dissolve the contact in some Nitric acid in a test tube or small beaker. Silver should give you a clear solution at this point. Once fully dissolved, drop a couple of drops of Hydrochloric acid in the solution. If they are silver, you will get a beautiful 'white cloud' precipitant, really amazing to see for yourself.
