what all gold is in or on circuit boards

hi.
trying to learn before throwing away gold. i took all fingers and pins off my circuit boards. is there any other gold bearing material on it? like them ceramic chips on ther do they have anything good in them?
basically what other than fingers and pins should i take off ram chips and mother boards?
any help appreciated
dont want to throw away until i find out for sure

im not a pro .. but ill try to answer... if you are looking for gold ( let assume your processing computer ) you will have some in the CPU.. on the ram.. in the flat pack (ceramic) most of connector pins.. jumper pins.. thats about it.. some board (pci or agp or other) can have also some litle gold trace.. wich give better conductivities i guess ( cell phone have some ) ..

you also know there is other precious metal on these kind of computer board ...

you can also recover about 99% of these board lol

have a look on youtube or google to when you looking for that kind of info.. you could get the answer way quicker than whaiting on me

You should study the forum for a few weeks or more before you do anything. Don't throw out any boards, as even stripped down boards should have at least the value of low grade boards, or more.

Sometimes you will do better selling boards and just keeping the easier to process materials like fingers, processors and better pins. If you try processing whole boards you will get in over your head, and will have to deal with all the waste that is created. And that you must handle correctly or this hobby can cost a lot more than you expected.

thanks guys. what all other metal should i look for? like what is silver on these. and is there anything in those ceramic/plastic square and rectangle chips.
