Foils produced by 2.4Kg of gold lids from ceramic processors. Any ideas of what it will yield? Have a guess guys.

It's a cheap emergency use replacement because I broke my main one. The quality isn't good at all but it does the job.

It came out at 62g overall. 62g / 2.4 = 25.8g per Kg. Whilst you can't take that as a given because it depends upon the types of feed stock processors (this was a complete mix) it's a pretty reasonable test run. Frankly it's more than I expected and I think it's a win that provides some useful data.

I've never particularly liked trying to dissolve lids in their entirety with ceramics. They take too long compared to the rest of the processor.

I always pop the lids off all the processors. And scrape as much of the indium off as I can too.
