im beginner for gold refining. im really intrested to doing this. now i have HCL and nitric acid as i read in this forum. i have mixed HCL and nitric acid to dissolve 486 processor. it was dissolve nicely but dont understood what is next step. could u help me ?? the solution becomes green colour after dissolved. what should i do after that?

You need to filter the solution. Then, when your solution is clear (without any precipitate in the bottom of the jar) you have many options. Evapourate nitric or use urea etc, but the goal is to get rid of NO2.Then drop your gold with SMB, SO2 etc (it is up to you again).Try reading C.W.Ammen or Hoke. Links are available in many threads.

Sugu,

Be certain to get a copy of Hoke's book. It will help you understand the basics of refining, even though you may not be processing the same materials. It is an excellent place to start the learning process.
