What's a fair price for silver bullion?

The guy down the street sells silver bullion for $1.50 over spot. Is this a fair price? What should a person expect to pay for silver without getting hosed?

That is a very good price for a small amount. However, if you wanted to buy 1,000 ounces then it would be very bad indeed.

Kitco wants (today) 178400 for 1000 ounces, they make about 300 off of you.
For a one ounce silver Maple, they want 19.79 and are making over 2 dollars.
