Who of us from the forums buy refined gold?

Just curious as to who else from the forums is regular buyer of other forum members refined gold? I recently did a deal with another forum member, buying his refined gold. Just trying to see if we can find him a better spot price than I offered for his next sale.

There are quite a few large refiners represented on the forum under various guises, some open about who they are others less so. The problem can be location and volumes, the US is a big country and not everyone has easy aceess to the big refiners so it's a case of what ever the local market pays is what you get unless your willing to travel or post your values. In small amounts personally anything from 95% + isn't too bad if you add the cost of shipping or travel into the price you receive, for bigger amounts it's worth looking around to find a better deal but convenience and speed are sometimes more important. There's no one size fits all, some people are happy to stick to the same refiner for ever others will chase a cent a gram from one refiner to another while others seem content to be payed what appears to be well below it's value because they have other deals going that compensate.
Bottom line is if this member and you are satisfied then it's a good deal if not then look around there's no shortage of buyers.
