Work with Precious Metals Brokerage companies---Amark etc.??

I have been thinking of starting my own precious metals brokerage to service local investors and tradesmen. I have been looking into major gold dealers trying to find one that I would want to work with. I have so far found this one in california www.amark.com and would like any feedback that people may have. Has anyone ever worked with them? Are they reputable? From what I have been able to find out they are affiliated with Johnson Mathey, however people sometimes question Johnson Mathey.

Any other large gold dealers out there that offer services to brokers?

I worked for a guy several years ago that bought from Amark. We were in Texas and he probably bought at least 1000 oz of gold per month - mostly kilos of pure shot and bullion coins. We also dealt in a lot of Pt/Ir and Pt/Ru. We resold to jewelers. We picked it up at the local Brinks facility. As far as honesty, there was never any problem.
