Hi guys, does anyone know something about the yield of these? It seems like it is very high in yield, but what can I expect?

They are actually not as good as one would think. I average about 1.6-2 grams per pound. Those chips you have there are a little different than the VIA I have run, but I believe the yield will be Almost identical.

Hi Tyler, thanks very much for your information! You are giving your estimate per pound, but what will this be per cpu? Is it more, or less than 0.1 gram/cpu?

I never kept good track of cpu count but that .1 is probably a very good guess per cpu. You could weigh one and then divide 454 by the weight of the one chip. That would tell you roughly how many in a #

In 1999 VIA bought Cyrix and if I remember right, they just used the old cpu design under the new label. IBM has been a production partner of Cyrix, so my guess is, all three of them used the same design in some cpus. I just read the VIA C3, former VIA Cyrix III, has been the next generation to IDT's WinChip CPU.

I think 0,1g will always be a good guess for this generation.
