I was told to use hydrochloric acid along with potassium dichromate could you please tell me how nitric acid fits into the equation I'm very new at this thank you
HCl do not touch Silver.
You have to have Silver Nitrate and add the Dichromate.
But this is for metallic Silver, not ore.
For ore, follow what Galenrog said.
