I read a couple of posts about trying to make Nitric with Ammonia Sulfate but they are beyond my abilities at this time. I have a source for the stuff and was wondering if anyone is doing anything else with it? Happy New Year to everyone!! allan

Just looking for idea's with this stuff. Can get it at $1.30/20 lb. bag. 21-0-0 2l% Nitrogen & 24% Sulfur If I don't find any other uses it will all go into gardening in the spring. 48 degrees below Farenheit here now so I'll keep reading and studying. Have a great day. allan

I'm watching for those, but they won't ship them in here for a couple more months yet. Not much demand till toward spring. Was hopeing to learn something with the Ammonium Sulfate through the winter. Thanks and have a great day. allan

Came across a bag of 20-20-10 (20% Total Nitrogen - 20% P2O5 Available Phosphoric Acid - 10% K20 Soluble Potash). Is there a link to using this, I tried search but no match. Thanks and have a great day. allan

Pre-blended fertilizers aren't what you need. If you must have some buy it on eBay. Sodium nitrate or potassium nitrate.

Where would you be working with this in Alaska this time of year? You must have a very good fume hood to work with refining chemicals indoors.
