If those are all you have, not enough to make a $ on. Cut them with a pair of tin snips to see if you can measure the thickness of Au. Or a scratch test.

Did you break down the whole oscilloscope, or just have these few boards? The CRT’s on the Tektronix scopes which are part ceramic and part glass (almost all of those I’ve come across) are coated on the inside with gold.

indeed collectors items, very pretty shiny stuff. Ebay is the best option imo. No safety issues, max return. (can be a lot more than actual pm value)

The high vacuum cathode ray tube? Yeah I have that. In fact, I’m not quite sure how to handle it. How do I properly break the glass or whatever I need to do, as to prevent it from blowing up like a bomb.
