I have read that as long as you bubble air into your AP solution, it can be rejuvenated forever or at least quite a long time. If AP is dissolving base metals and leaving the gold behind, aren't the base metals being dissolved using up the AP solution? I am basing this on the fact that a give amount of acid can only dissolve a given amount of metal. Once the acid is used up, or saturated with base metals, how can it continue to work? If it isn't the acid that's being used up, but is the hydrogen peroxide, won't it also reach a saturation point? I know you guys have the answers. Thank you in advance.
