Are mydog containers gold plated?

Are mydog pet food squares gold plated, they are gold in color?

If so how much gold can you get from 1 unit.

Without evidence to the contrary, I am going to say no. There are MANY different ways in chemistry and metallurgy to make things gold in color. I can think of no reason for gold to be included in any pet food packaging.

That looks like an aluminum package.
A golden yellow color is commonly achieved with anodized aluminum.
I would guess it is either that or an ink.
From what I understand, it is very hard to plate on aluminum.

Chris having just read the thread about gold in Home Depot sand I sincerely doubt it but we can but pray that sense will prevail at some point :roll:
