How are the Gold accumulated?
In the Philippines there are mainly two methods used, Cyanide and Mercury.
None of these are suited for smelting.
And I know about Asia, I'm just back after two years in the Philippines.
Remote controlling dangerous procedures is not my Idea of a safe operation.
I'd be happier to deal with the ones doing it than via a third person.

I do not consider this information unless the ones doing the refining has produced this video.
Youtube is for the most part useless in refining, as most are made for views and clicks to make money and not to show the actual refining.
Borax don't do much for refining and are usually used together with Soda ash and other fluxes in order to clean up the Gold by reacting with contaminants in the Ore not the Gold, and this is called smelting.
To melt Gold one do not use Borax, just Borax glazed melting dishes.

Get some real first hand training for those who will be doing the melting, smelting and/ or refining. Without it the workers will only know enough to get them hurt.
