67% and i will dilute by volume 50/50 (H20)

It takes about 1 gallon of a mixture of 50% nitric (v) and 50% water (v) to dissolve 1 pound of copper or copper alloys. On a smaller scale, it takes about 8.3 ml of the same 50/50 nitric to dissolve 1 gram of copper or copper alloys.

You haven't been doing much searching and studying, have you? I've posted this information at least 25-50 times. In fact, I posted it earlier today on another thread. Please don't take offense at this. I'm used to repeating myself over and over, but that doesn't mean I like it.

When dealing with concentrated acids, we generally don't deal with % by weight on the forum. It is much easier to measure % by volume and it's easier to understand.

i agree with GSP. you can count 1 :4 w / w

if u are refering to weght 1lb to 4 lb wouldn't it be
1lb of pins:1 gallon of solution =
1 lb of pins:7 or 8 lb of solution =
1:8
just out of curiosity

thx
