You should download a copy of the version of Hoke's book in the link that Yggdrasil provided. It is an updated copy that corrected a lot of OCR errors in the version that you probably downloaded as well as an introduction that points out some practices that were considered OK in 1940 when the book was written, but that we now consider less than desirable.

Yeah I downloaded it and deleted the one I already had on my pc.
