Can Hi-Yield Iron Sulfate mixed with water work as well as Copperas Crystals made with iron and sulphuric acid ?

If there only is 30% iron sulfate there, i wonder what the other ingredients are.

If there is actually metallic iron in there, it will displace/cement many base metals like copper tin lead etc.

The high yield is for green leaves, not for gold.
 
It did work. The catch is if you find a bag it will be really old. They renamed it a few years ago to Iron Sulfate, and it should be what your looking for. With that said, it still works as well or better than the older Copperas but I feel the age has more to do with why it works slightly better.

And, even then a tech grade Copperas would most likely work even better, but I haven't used them.
