Just curious if you can process non magnetic pins and fingers in 1 batch. Im not really sure if there are diffrent base metals on the pins. Im pretty sure it's plated copper. what would happen if some plated brass mixes in will it ruin it? Can gold be plated on to brass? The pins im refering about are battery connection terminal ends that are in contact with water. They are in a sealed plastic case and more flat than regular pins.

You can do whatever you want to.
We advise never to mix different material. So instead of putting all together use 2 buckets and split solution. Another point is that fingers will be done much quicker than pins. Pins will require heating of solution or a lot of time. If you talk about AP then I say weeks, number of weeks.

I have to agree with Pat, why take the risk if you keep items separate and one causes problems at least the rest will not be contaminated, once you have material ready to actually refine then perhaps yes if your sure it's been well cleaned of base metals and contaminants.
