Gold Bar moving tool

Greetings.

I have been having issues finding a tool which can move semi-cooled gold bars easily.

I have seen this tool before, which looks like 4 hooks which grab under the bar and that being attached to a handle which allows you to carry the bar around.

Would anyone have a name on this type of tong as all i get on searches for it is crucible tongs, which I already have in abundance.

Semi cooled? You could just quench it in a water tank, it makes the slag come off easier and cools quickly.

But if you are bent on moving a vary warm bar, google "brick moving tongs" and a plethora of options come up. Doesn't matter if it's a gold brick!

What weight of bars are you trying to move?

They must be 500 or 1000 oz bars because much smaller and they are easier to move by hand. The big bars I always water quenched and used a brick moving clamp, not because they were hot but because the handle made them easier to carry any distance.

I will try some brick moving tongs.

I was hoping to get a lead on a type of lifter used on gold bars with 4 hook which i have seen multiple times on videos.

Each bar is about 35 Lbs. to 40 Lbs on average so you need something solid to move them.
