I tried to go to the website posted and my computer came back with a warning that the connection is not safe, privacy error.

What's up with that? Would someone from Chelsea Rare Coins care to explain or say something about your company? Based on the privacy error I received, there is some explaining to do. Has anyone else received the privacy error?

Seems fishy, I googled them and a site comes up offering 1oz .9999 coins for $2,399, when most sellers would be asking a premium. I’m thinking the too good to be true saying applies.

The website certificate that they registered with Go-Daddy back in 2020 expired back in 2022. Even the cert doesn't match the DNS entry for the cert. This is either someone who has no idea how to manage a website or an obvious phishing website. Do NOT go to this site. Definitely do not enter any financial information.

At best, his method does nothing to gain the trust of experienced people. Join, introduce yourself, and maybe even ask if it would be ok to advertise, and where would be best to post it would be how I think be best for gaining potential new customers. But that is just me.

My vote is remove this thread. I have been asked numerous times to donate money to keep this site going, sadly I am on a disability pension and cannot financially assist. But people that come in and post an ad in the form of a forum thread to make money here, without paying something (free advertising), that seems to me to be a bit over the top.
( Sorry just my 2 cents worth of opinion)

If you go to chelseararecoins.dot com. you will get the same message if you do not possess the ability to give an actual address without having to go through Google how do you expect to do business? I am not saying or trying to imply your validity as a coin dealer or metals buyer are lacking but your ability to promote yourself using the internet is lacking.

Having been to the store, it's a gold buying operation. The day I went, the showcases were empty and there was a nice enough guy photographing his own records to list on ebay. He said the owner basically winters in another state and has him run the store.

Did some digging. It appears that the correct website is goldsilvercoindealer.com.

Of course, I could be wrong.

Does not give me good vibes when they do not know their own website.

Time for more coffee.
