Hi everyone
One ore, it has three main minerals/formations.
Sulfides
Silicates
Iron

Au is in sulfides
Pgms are in iron and iron is bonded with silicates.

I want saperate three types.
Idea is to float the ore first to collect all the sulfides. (Then next steps of extraction)

Then run the tailings on shaker to collect magnetic/heavy fraction. Then Test the both concentrates and tailings.
I want float with household items like pine oil. Question is,
Is this idea ok to start?
For floatation،200 mesh is ok?
Only pine oil will work to float?

You will have somewhere in your large city a supplier of flotation chemicals.
This supplier will be able to tell you what chemicals are legal for use in your location as well as which chemicals will work best for your application and the cost of using such.
They will also be able to point you in the direction of float plant suppliers who will give you their opinion on your requirements.
You will get good information from these suppliers as it is in their interests to have you get the knowledge you need, if you can mount a case for installing such a plant then you still have to buy such a plant and get the chemicals to run it.
Most float chemicals suppliers will have the in-house facility for small scale float testing.
This testing is usually reasonably cheap and will give you a good idea of what recoveries you will get and the cost of doing so.
If you feel that it is too expensive to get this test work done then you do not have the capital to start up a separation plant nor the business knowledge necessary to operate such a plant.
