I'm not sure what the mesh of your screen is, but you could probably use it in a sulfuric stripping cell. Check out the lead cathodes that Lazer Steve sells, then get yourself the right pyrex dish, sulfuric acid, a sears battery charger, and you will be on your way, after you read, study and practice the proper safety measures, to deplate gold plated items.
