Maybe we should start a thread for disgruntled members. Everybody needs to vent once in a while. Move any indignant posts to this thread, leaving a good discussion uninterrupted by the offending nasen borers. Much the same as somebody jumping into a refining thread, asking a question about rocks, or some other non relevant post.

These entitled ranters don't care where they post.

But in this case the asking of rocks was done in the correct location.
So that was not a reason to react.

The response to the questions asked on the other hand was.

Sometimes I'm diplomatic and sometimes I have no idea how to be anything but plain spoken. This is a later time. Hmmm, or maybe not. Tis said 'patients is a virtue' but sometimes patients just gets you stuck to a splosion baby. International/cultural differences may make splosion babies hard to identify. They have 2 characteristics: 1) they have something highly valuable (that defies all known reality) they want to be told the inner sanctum secret to transmuting it to wealth. 2) they trust no one who might guide them to the secret, but instead is seen to delay/divert them from the secret in order to swoop in and steal it. These, bundled in an uncrackable shell (I know what I have - I just need a friend in this greedy world to give me the transmutation secret - otherwise you're an enemy) are splosion babies. Splosion is perhaps the wrong made up word - they rarely explode dangerously - but they do leave small depressions where their shell bounces off reality. Early identification and resolution is often difficult. This one won't be the last, but may aid future identification and resolution. PS - I think 'Nancy' a related but wrong moniker.

How about a no rock policy , please hear me out . I have seen so many post I have this rock how much value is in .
Then some chemical work is done which goes sideways
Or when told to get an essay no one listens
It’s a waste of space on the server and time .

I look at it as Karens are post-menopausal, Nancys are menstruating... Male or Female. They need to be seen and heard, purposely a causing a situation to achieve the desired attention.

As a silent member, i saw nothing wrong or offensive with any of your responses to this guy, especially considering his assessment of our community. Keep doing what y’all do; the forum is fine.

I am fairly certain the vast majority of members will not miss him or his disruption and bad attitude.
We get this type of new member every now and then and the mods are usually aware fairly quickly, we really do not like banning people and prefer gentle persuasion to get members in line but sometimes they just won’t accept that guidance and go full on believing in their own perceived truths and bad treatment, we gave him time to back off/ down but he refused to do so.
Profanity , politics , religion or aggression to other members tends to get the ban fingers twitching in all the mods as they tend to cause further disturbances that is a negative to the majority of members and the flow of information that we all come here for.

just what we need - a place to wine & complain about hurt feelings &/or how this forum is run

I think not !!!

this would do nothing but create a complete & total distraction from the real purpose of the forum which is the discussion about refining

There is a simpler solution to/for those that "feel" disgruntled with how the forum is run

It is as simple as telling them --------------

You are certainly entitled to your opinion - BUT - this forum has been teaching people the art of refining for MANY years & over the course of those MANY years we have taught literally THOUSANDS of people to refine PMs both on a hobby level as well as those that have taken it to a "for profit" business level

So - if you don't like the way we go about teaching the art of refining here on this forum - then I suggest you look for other options to learn this art - because you in fact have other options - such as -------

YouTube - or facebook groups - &/or other online sources of info --- & in fact if you think you know so much about how to run a discussion forum about refining you even have the option to go somewhere else & "start your own" discussion forum

So in as much as you may be entitled to your opinion of this forum you are certainly not obligated to be here - because you in fact have "other" choices --- so I suggest if you don't like it here - go look at your other options including but not limited to starting your own forum where you can run it any way you want
