Hi all
As I read this-
http://goldrefiningforum.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=37&t=2343&p=48774&hilit=CuSO4#p48774
I remembered that one of the ways to make boards ever was-CuSO4 + NaCl + heat.
I decided to try that and whether to terminate the boards.
I put a finger in the solution and put it on the hot plate and only 10 minutes longer gold flakes floating in it!

You need to wash your hands

You're link did not work, so I have no clue what thread you referenced. Can you edit the link :?:

That sounds very interesting!

Since CuSO4 dissociates in water to its ions Cu++ and SO4--, the copper already has a valence of (II). Together with Cl- it is nothing else but CuCl2 also called AP. Can anybody confirm or correct this?

I wonder,if PbCl2 could be used to make CuCl2 from CuSO4, since PbCl2 is a little bit soluble (1-3%), while PbSO4, especially in presence of excess SO4--, would precipitate quantitatively.

Niteliteone the link worked for me
I will paste and see if it is yhe same
If not it is called

"The passive stripping system"

Hope this helps

The link is correct and working fine now.
When I first replied it was written in black and the last characters were "=CuS04...", if I remember correctly. It is fixed and working now, so all is good. 8)
