Does copper only knock out gold or does it also knock out silver?

I'm sorry but I think you misunderstood the question or the answer seems too short for what I seek. You mentioned above that NOx gas mixed with peroxide/water would make nitric. So will the same solution be ok for Hcl fume or should I make and use a different solution for that?
It only needs to be caustic, either NaOH or any other caustic solution will do since there is no point in reclaiming it.
What about doing some more studying rather than relying on spoon feeding?

Ammonium Chloride, Copper cementing or Zinc cementing depending completely on how it was dissolved.
You don’t detox Nitric, it is always as toxic as it is.
But I guess you mean deNOx.
If you have dissolved it with excess Nitric I assume it is necessary.
Give us a bit more background and your questions should be easier to answer.
Isn't ammonium chloride used for platinum?

And Palladium.
Thanks for the answer!

This is part of the gold dust collected so far. Why is it gray in color, maybe it has silver in it? This gold dust has been around for a long time.

How did you get this?
It is not recognizable as Gold, in my eyes at least.
Looks more like some Iron mineral, is it placer or e-waste as source?

And in this form it is not dust, it is more like grains.

What color is palladium if I precipitate it from ar with ammonium chloride?
I think that depends on the valence of the Pd salt.
Red to Green if it is Pd II or Pd III.
I think Hokes describes this relatively detailed.
Are you expecting Pd?
If so, from MLCC’s ?

The palladium would be from relays. My powder turned out light gray.

Yes. I haven't tested it.
If you haven't tested it, you really do not know if it is there or not.
Or if the precipitation is complete or not.
Stannous is our eyes and with out it we are driving blind.
