Hi im a jeweler and small time scrap dealer and was wondering what the easiest way to get started on refining gold is i keep reading about chemical methods but would like to know the easiest way
i will try refining gold for personal use as a hobby but there are that many ways listed i find it hard to no were to begin cheers

kind of depends on what you plan on processing on best ways to handle it.
learning anything like this there is a learning curve and it takes time and patients, and work. (oops a dirty word for some people).
The best place to start is always the beginning.
Hokes book is free and should get you going quickly.
There are many threads here to guide you.
Expect to make a mistake or two.
