Non-Chemical gold button

Hi,

I'd like to see if anyone can help me. I melted the gold I refined in a cupel. The problem is that it doesn't look that good. How do you get the real deep gold look like ever ones I see on the forum? I see some of the glass from the borax that I used.

Can anyone help?

Hello Chris,

In order to get the nice shine you should redissolve the button and percipitate again. I know you didn't want to hear this, but that is the solution.
