gold flake question

so i was looking on ebay and found a few gold flake bags, my hunch is that theres hardly any gold there seeing as though its selling for a little over 30.00, what do you think? would it be worth it to try refining?

Not worth it . The add actually says that it is made from shaved scrap metals with no guarantee of purity. it's only gold tone if anything.
