Gold pins with tin

Hi

I have 2 kilo off these pins:

They have all tin on it from components soldered on top of it.
I want to run them thru my Sulfuric cell but read that the Tin may cause troubles. Read 105 posts after searcing for +tin +sulfuric +cell, and found that diluted sufuric acid or hcl will disolve the tin. Do i have to dissolve the tin first with one off the 2 mentioned methods, and will those methods work?

I'd put them in weak HCL and leave them until the solder disappears and you should be left with the bare pins at that point.
