Gold plated pins

I've been thinking about doing pins in AP perhaps. Ivev been slowly pulling these pins out of these connectors. And they are partially magnetic if that helps . I'm proficient with the sulphuric cell just don't have one going at this time. Plus I simply like the AP method. And want to see if I can get it to witrh in pins. So my question is this. Is the Ap method the right one to do? WI'll it work in these partially magnetic pins?

Yes, it will WORK. But it is a poor choice.
