I hope all is good a little bit of an update. When I started on the form, I would like all the rest. I thought I knew what I was doing but the more I studied the form. I understood that I did not, so I put all my stuff away I got enough confidence in myself, and the right set up to do my experiments, so I built me a little hood got some finger cards started with 80 g the AP process without the P marantic, acid with the air bubbler works great after 48 hours. I was seeing the gold coming off the cards so I made some Stannous chloride I needed something to test it with so I took 1 g of the foil put it in my test tube put 15 mils of marantic acid added a half of mil of nitric acid waited 3 to 5 minutes before the reaction started came back the following day it was all resolved took another half a gram of gold foil put it in my test tube. It dissolved a little bit but there was gold left so I knew that nitric acid was completed. Tested my stannous chloride and it was a beautiful dark purple color just like had been mentioned on the form many times what it should look like, you can see in the pictures myfoils.JPGdrop.JPGbubble.JPGgold.PNG solution looks like it has a little bit of copper in it, but you got to remember I was making Stannous chloride and I needed some to test it with so I did not clean my foil before putting in the solution, and those are the pictures of the reaction, and after it was done, how much was in the bottom of the beaker After filtering it and cleaning it didn’t seem like there was much left there so I was like well. I’m going to try it. I did not have a melting dish. I couldn’t find a potato, so I had a lemon. I took my filter paper a little bit of borax sprinkled it on there, warmed it up, melted it, and I was very surprised, as you can see my pictures that I got a gold ball I can’t believe I had actually done the process. I still need to do more studying, and I still need to do more experiments as you can see. I could’ve washed this in sulfuric acid, clefoils.JPGsol.JPGact.JPGan it up, but I like it the way it is my first one next time I’ll maybe do 3 g and then go from 3 g maybe 5 g. I need to get comfortable with this process before I try anything bigger. I do have a lot of material to work with thank you for all the information obtain throughout the years on this form and hopefully many years more to come P S also a picture of my air bubbler

Good to see things are getting done, one way or another.
