How about it, readers----does anyone know if Hoke's book has been translated to other languages?

Harold

I dont know about that one Harold but he can help himself easy if he want. Google is his friend. Do some research it is all it takes.
Not to mention that he can download english version and use various translators.
Here is what I have found:

Google will even allow you to see sites translated in your own language which works fine if members use proper spelling and not some slang or texting lingo. Even OP could wrote his post in swedish and have it translated in google it would be much better than what he already posted.

I Have never done this so I am not sure how well it will work with a book like C.M. Hoke's book.

Jag har aldrig gjort det, så jag är inte säker på hur väl det kommer att arbeta med en bok som C. M. Hoke bok.

Online translators are bit hairy but if there is a will it is a solution...

It's certainly worth a try since Rusty uploaded a Swedish translation of Hoke in the Bar&Grill area. However machine translation is never as fluid or accurate as what a human can do, and the mistakes multiply when dealing with older source material where words may have different meanings now. In the case of the chemicals we work with a mis-translation could even be dangerous. One place he might check is the ABEbooks.com website. ABE is a consortium of hundreds of book dealers all over the world. If the book was ever published in Swedish and if one of their members has it for sale you can find it by searching there. There are some other similar book search services like Alibris or AndAll. Even the Amazon.com website lists a lot of used books for sale by dealers and individuals.

For what it's worth I've had good luck with ABE in the past, although their default shipping rates seem excessive. Sometimes it's better to contact the dealer directly to get a better shipping rate.
