I've been reading this forum for some time now. Trying to figure out some rhodium pgm processing. Someone possibly who knows what they are doing would be helpful. Have 15 lbs of material for sure with rhodium/pgm in it. Had assays done just trying to do something with it. It's ore pgm's 4 assays 2 atomic absorption in. Paid a guy on ebay for a xrf scan which I don't have a pic of and I had to disagree with and get my money back 😉 but I do have assays rhodium 0007??? Tried to get clarification on what that meant per say haven't heard back. I'm not including pics of everything for the sake of save every type this is the type of material. 1000003313.jpg 1000003232.jpg1000003233.jpg

Welcome to us.
15 pounds is way to little to attract interest I'm afraid.

Even so I've seen you answer a lot
Do you have any knowledge about stones like this like coal almost but came with all the tailings what would be a good test for rhodium on those that won't burn my face off

No test for Rhodium will burn your face off.
The "only" reliable test for PGM's is a NiS assay.
Besides that the concensus in this forum is that a rock without an assay is just a rock.

Edit for spelling

I found some pretty heavy limestone kind of in a boxworks design along side the rhodium ore. From a geological standpoint would this be my main source looking at an iron cap bearing rhodium gossan/vuggy silica seeing as everything else is tapped except 14oz per ton reading rhodium on some darker black stuff. I understand an assay is the only way to tell. But someone might nudge me in the right direction by pointing out something I don't realize.....

I hope you did not test these with XRF?
Whenever an XRF shows Ir or Rh it is more than likely to be Arsenic.

So I got an assay I have no idea what to do w/ see notes... on prior assay as well compare with 11.42% low grade mind you... graded concentrated limestone... see pics 60lbs of that. Some better than that but how would I go about. gold ii sulfate. Some black pieces reappeared when dropping out of solution of bleach and hcl. I had a mask graded for chlorine gas

BTW read the notes on the assay. It says replace 2000lb measurement with 29.16 grams in assays is critical not mixed Pounds and Grams. An assay tonts per million ( PPM ).
Measurement in assays it is critical do not mix Pounds and Grams. All measurements in Precious metals weights are in Troy Ounces = 31.45 Grams
an imperial Ounce measures = 28 grams. An assay Ton equals one million grams
