Hello!
How much gold does a computer contain?
1gram of gold?

Also, I´ve heard that lcd screens contain indium?
How much does a 15" lcd screen contain?

/Thanks

The way to view your question is how much does a computer retail for? and gold is only one of the values contained in the average computer.
Bob the answer to your question has been discussed many times on the forum, use the search function to find the answers, top right of your screen, you will find the answers your seeking fairly easily and maybe learn a few other things while your searching, I'm not been awkward but pointing you to the way to do your own research and learning which is much more valuable than a simple answer.

Bob - first you were asking about platinum in converters Now you are asking about gold in computers - please forgive me if I am wrong here - but it looks like you as well as many others that hear about recovering & refining these metals from this kind of stuff think it is a way to fast & easy wealth --- its not - it take large volumes of curcit boards &/or converters - much study to learn the process - & a fair cash investment before you see any real kind of profit.

Most of us start into this as a hobby & some turn it into a profit making venture

I am not trying to discurage you - just letting you know it is not a quick & easy way to wealth

There is between $5 or $10 worth of gold in a computer depending on how old it is - who & were it was made & how you go about processing it - There could be less then $5 if you only process part of it &/or don't process it right

Doing "alot" of research is part of the process - you also need to read Hokes book which you can down load for free here on the forum
