Here in Texas, a lecturn bottle of sulfur dioxide @ 237 psi is $300 in a disposable bottle. The regulator assembly is another $300.

Does anyone else have any figures on getting this cheaper?

Paige,

Using SMB in water would be cheaper and every bit as effective. Try http://www.thechemistrystore.com Sodium Metabisulfite.
