Have a friend that has brought to me some igniter (bridge wiring) from expelled air bags. These wires are the ones that give the direct electrical power to the airbags for there duty of expansion. Have read a couple articles in the past of the platinum that they are supposed to contain. He only brought me about 9 grams of this wire to test ( using the acids in a gold test kit that I purchased). The tests were positive for platinum.
Has anyone else tested or know more about these wires (like the content or amount of the platinum?).

Thanks etack for the links. And I know its hard to find the information that I am looking for but I'll keep trying.
 
ah, i have half a toyota soarer sitting in my driveway.

Its missing engine, gearbox, interior, some panels, but most of the things are still in there. Now, i'm thinking the fuse box might have some PMs but i'm not too sure about that. though there isn't much visible PMs in the abs ecu.
