Imitation Rhodium plating

Dear all,
I want to make the imitation rhodium plating solution to get the rhodium color on my brass jewelry. I had tried some solution such as , Nickel, zinc, Tin-Copper alloy, but the color quite different to compare to rhodium. Can anyone please give me some ideas and process?

The problem your going to have is that rhodium has a very distinct colour and the only substitute I have seen is palladium which will give a similar colour but is still an expensive metal, the jewellery will probably also need a plating to stop migration before you apply the final plate.
