I have been looking for a price per lb. for laptop motherboards. Boardsort does not seem to have a specific class for them. I feel they should be worth more than standard motherboards, but I may be dreaming? I know it is much harder to scrap out a laptop, than a regular PC. There are a lot of fine pitch connectors on a LT motherboard, and an average of 4 - 6 good size flatpacks on each one. I was thinking closer to the price of hard drive logic boards?

i was trying to make a good english joke about feary and lolipop dream but my english isnt good enuf (if someone wanna make one in my name :p )

you might get a better price somewhere else but it will be hard to interest someone with just a few lbs of out of norm motherboard.... you can depopulate them yourself, i doubt that you will meet more money than if you shipped them like that... i am too in the choosing of dismantling old laptop or selling them like that...

I get what you mean

You are correct, about a few pounds of LT motherboards, but I have around 100 lb's. After scrapping out that many LT's I will reconsider boardsorts quoted price of .75 cents per lb for whole laptops! What a pain, because there are like 30 - 60 screws per laptop
