well tecnicaly yes, but from my experience no...
when a batterie is dead it usualy mean that the acid is unable to let the electric curent flow ... and when that appen it is usualy because of lead sulfate forming over the lead plate inside .... grossomodo if your sulfate(sulfuric) is in salt form what you got left is water.....
BUT if a batterie is good you could possibly get the acid out, filter it clean, boil it to the concentration you need ... but it seem realy time consuming to save 10$...
