Looking for what is called SCRUB Powder??

Hello I'm new to this and I ordered a kit to start. I have been able to find all of the chemicals locally to replace in my kit. However there is a product that comes in my kit called SCRUB Powder? It does not list contents on the package and I am unsure of what it actually is. Does any one know or can you suggest something else?

Hi Carri,
Not certain but i believe most use "Bon-ami scrubbing powder" to get rid of scum and oils and grease.

Hi all,
The scrubbing powder is used as Noxx said for cleaning glass also
any metals that have grease on them.....Two of the best methods for
precipitating gold are using sodium sulfite,or SMB,or so2 gas.try looking
under ~chemical processes~ on how to use them. LaserSteve has videos
of the processes.Steve has also has a guided tour that should be read.

Perhaps the scrub powder is to treat the fumes from the reaction?

A beaker with lye solution with bubbles going through it?

Just the term scrub, may be a fume scrubber.
