Update October 31st 1:18 am :

I’ll cut to the chase - my buyer got cold feet. I thought for sure it was a done deal/ he paid a deposit said he’d be back in one month with the rest of the money - I usually don’t do business that way but it was a decent sum so I was willing to be patient about it. 1 week before we were to meet and finalize I had a trip to take - to soothe my mind I asked him to pay this months rent on the storage unit. He obliged and all was well. 2 days before we are to meet he texts me saying he put a bid in on a house and will no longer be able to buy the lot…after 1 month of waiting … sigh - defeated. His lame excuses haven’t discouraged me but I was budgeting my money with that deal in mind and now I’m in a pickle - looks like I get to put my money where my mouth is and learn how to do this process. I plan on studying and experimenting as I try and sell off the lot. I’ll give it til halfway December then I’ll process everything over the winter and start refining when ready. Hopefully tho I can just find someone to take the lot - the original computer lot combined with the tektronix test equipment lot will look nice once combined. If anyone is interested just send me a message.

I have a ton of this stuff also. The amount of work and know how to process that size lot isn't any small feat for an amateur or hobbyist refiner. I've spent the better part of 3 years gearing up to recover PMs from a group of that stuff large enough to fill a thousand sq ft of storage. I actually have 5 years if you count study. If you aren't experienced I don't think you realize what's involved. You're going to be better off finding a buyer... unless you don't have a regular 9-5 job. Just my 2 cents, not trying to be discouraging, but that's reality. Spot gold price is very high, timing couldn't be better. And I wouldn't be destroying this board for $1.63 worth of gold...😂
