Making 60% nitric into 30%

If i added 1 part 60% nitric to 1 part distilled water would that be the same as 30%? Common sense tells me yes but just to be safe i thought i would get a second opinion.

1 liter HNO3 60% +1 liter water(tap or distilled)=2 liter HNO3 30%
