Mlcc's inside crystal oscillator?

Hello everyone,
I wanted to introduce myself as this is my first post. Only been a member for a few days but I have been reading and studying for a few years now trying to familiarize myself with precious metals. I find it very fascinating and the information in this forum is amazing. Thank you all for passing this knowledge on. Just wanted to double check but when I opened up a crystal oscillator I found a couple of what I believe are mlcc's?

Good eyes - you have some in there yes.

They may or may not be noble metal MLCs it does depend upon the grade of equipment that they originate from. Checking them with a magnet is often a good starting point.

Edit - something of note. The magnet check can be more valid after the solder has been removed.
